Professional:
In 2002, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Purdue University. I moved on to Wright State University, where I got a Masters of Science in Human Factors Psychology (2005), studying under Dr. John Flach. This provided me a background in Ecological Psychology and a broad introduction to the field of Cognitive Systems Engineering. I have since gained over 10 years experience working on a variety of User Experience and Human Factors solutions. I recently began working at PNC for the digital experience team. It is my first opportunity to work on an internal product team and spend a lot of time with a single product suite. This will help me grow as a User Experience professional even more, as I learn new techniques and approaches. My first 9 years on the job were spent working on problems for various Department of Defense programs, ranging from on-board naval command centers that help build real-time Situational Awareness to tools that help intelligence analysts handle data overload. In 2014, I began working Truefit for whom I served as a User Experience Strategist. I worked with the range of customer from start ups to large enterprise clients to help define their products and how the user will interact with that product. |
